When ordering straps for hanging shelves, we recommend the following lengths:
- 10 cm deep shelf: straps with a length of 50 cm
- 15 cm deep shelf: straps with a length of 75 cm
- 20 cm deep shelf: straps with a length of 100 cm
- 25 cm and 30 cm deep shelf: straps with a length of 120 cm
If you want to order leather straps in another size than what we offer here, you are welcome to send us a request. Often the straps are going to be used to hang a shelf, and we can make holes in the straps so they are ready for hanging.
When you order a set of straps we put our logo on one of the two straps.
The logo is embossed on one end of the strap (as shown in the pictures).
For orders of straps for hanging shelves, we recommend the following lengths:

We use 4 cm wide straps for our shelves, but here you can buy straps in exactly the width that you want.
We often experience that our customers are unsure about which length of straps that fit their needs. If the straps are going to hold a shelf, we recommend to use a measuring tape to choose the right length. On our pictures of shelves with leather straps, the shelves have a depth of 20 cm, and the leather straps measure 4x100 cm. We recommend 100 cm long straps for shelves that have a depth of about 20 cm, and 75 cm long straps for shelves with a depth of about 15 cm.
Leather is a natural material that changes colour as it develops a patina. Especially the light leather will change colour - and get darker with time. In this blog post we show how our colours change with time.
We make all of our products in our own workshop. Because we make all our products by hand, and use leather which is a natural material, there can be variations in the look of the products. But of course we try to make all the products look the same every time.
